Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of the Madbinton application and website. The section below explains how fee and entry-fee payments work and what Madbinton is — and is not — responsible for. Please read it carefully before making or collecting any payment.
Payments & Fees
1. Madbinton is a facilitator, not a payment processor
Madbinton provides tools for academies, coaches, and tournament organizers to record and track fees. Madbinton is not a payment aggregator, payment gateway, bank, or financial institution. It does not process, collect, hold, escrow, or transfer any funds, and does not charge or settle payments.
2. Payments are made directly to the recipient
All fee and entry-fee payments are made by the payer directly to the academy’s or organizer’s own UPI ID (VPA), using the payer’s chosen UPI application or bank. Madbinton is not a party to, and has no control over or visibility into, these transactions.
3. Payment status in the app is informational only
Any “paid,” “pending,” or “confirmed” status shown in Madbinton reflects information reported by users (the payer marking a payment made, and the academy or organizer confirming it). It is not evidence of a successful, completed, or settled bank transaction. The authoritative record of any payment is the transaction confirmation and receipt issued by the payer’s UPI application and bank.
4. Transaction outcomes are outside Madbinton’s control
The success, failure, timing, settlement, reversal, or duplication of any payment is determined solely by the payer’s UPI app, the payer’s and recipient’s banks, and the applicable UPI/NPCI systems. Madbinton does not guarantee that any payment will succeed, be received, be received on time, or be for the correct amount or recipient.
5. No liability for payment issues
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Madbinton is not responsible or liable for any failed, delayed, duplicated, incorrect-amount, or wrongly-addressed payment; for payment to an incorrect or fraudulent UPI ID; for any loss arising from reliance on in-app payment status; or for any refund, chargeback, or dispute. Refunds and disputes are solely between the payer and the academy or organizer and their respective banks and UPI providers.
6. Your responsibilities
Before paying, verify the UPI ID and payee name shown are correct. Retain your UPI app’s transaction receipt. Academies and organizers are responsible for the accuracy of the UPI details they publish and for correctly reconciling and confirming payments they receive.
7. Raising a payment complaint
For a failed or disputed UPI transaction, contact your bank or UPI app provider, and raise a complaint through your bank or the NPCI UPI grievance process. For questions about the fee itself, contact your academy or organizer directly.
